How can I get my textbooks?

The Library currently does not have reserve copies of textbooks to lendYou can request portions of books through our Scan on Demand Service. 

You can find your books here. Please contact the bookstore to order your books which will be shipped to you. You can reach the bookstore by email or by phone at 780-644-6237 or 866-534-7218 (toll free).  


  • Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm
  • Orders within Edmonton and surrounding areas will arrive within 1-2 business days
  • For all other locations, allow 3-4 business days

Shipping rates

  • Edmonton: free
  • Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, Nisku, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, St. Albert, Stony Plain, Wetaskiwin: $10.00
  • All other locations: $20.00

I am a distance student and need books mailed to me. Can I still do this?


If you live outside the Greater Edmonton Area, you may request items from the NorQuest Library to be mailed to you. Items will be shipped via Canada Post with a return label included. This is at no cost to you.

However, Reserve materials are not available for loan. If you are in need of a textbook, please contact the Bookstore at You can also use the textbook chapter request form to ask for a single chapter of a book.

We also have many eBook options. Please refer to the Library news for more information about accessing books online.

Be sure that you are attempting to log into the student login page, and not the vendor login page. You should see a yellow bar at the top of your screen to log in.

    If you are using Internet Explorer, try using Chrome or Firefox. Sometimes the settings in one browser will prevent the resource from displaying while another browser works just fine.

*You have access to resources for 30 days before and after classes. Please plan accordingly.
